Summary
Per Se Group has an excellent job opportunity for a Mazatrol Vertical CNC Operator to work with our reputable industrial client. You will be responsible for working safely, efficiently, and productively. This position is a contract to hire, first shift position, with a weekly schedule of 40 hours from Monday through Friday. You will be working with a well-established company in industrial manufacturing with great opportunities for growth and advancement. Must have Mazatrol Vertical CNC experience, must be able to write and edit programs. 

Job duties required
Machine Operation:
·         Setting up and operating HAAS and Mazak vertical to produce precision metal. Operating of Multiple machines required.
·         Loading and unloading materials, fixtures, and tooling. 
·         Performing basic maintenance and cleaning on CNC machinery. 
Programming and Blueprint Interpretation:
·         Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. 
·         Writing, editing, and modifying CNC programs. 
·         Understanding and applying tool wear offsets. 
Quality Control:
·         Using measuring instruments and gauges to ensure parts meet tolerance requirements. 
·         Adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. 
·         Troubleshooting and making adjustments as needed. 
Safety and Maintenance:
·         Maintaining a safe and clean work environment. 
·         Following safety procedures and regulations. 
·         Performing basic preventative maintenance on equipment. 
Other Duties:
·         Assisting in stock control of materials, tooling, and consumables 
·         Maintaining and completing all documentation for production work 
·         Assisting in other production duties as required 
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
·         Proficiency in CNC machine operation and programming. 
·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. 
·         Knowledge of machining processes, materials, and tooling. 
·         Experience with CAD/CAM software (optional but helpful). 
Other Skills:
·         Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
·         Good math and measurement skills. 
·         Attention to detail and precision. 
·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
·         Good communication skills. 
Education and Experience:
·         High school diploma or equivalent. 
·         Vocational training or certification in CNC machining (preferred).
·         Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. 

The pay range for this role is $20-28/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire and schedule type).
