Summary

Per Se Group has an excellent contract job opportunity for a Water Lab Technician who will work at our client’s power generation plant in California. We are looking for a Water Lab Technician, Power Plant Chemist or Operator who is highly organized, communicates effectively, works well with a team, and can help ensure timely completion of projects in fast-paced environments.
 
Responsibilities

•  Perform the routine maintenance on all of our water chemistry equipment, which consist of cation and straight conductivity metering, sodium analyzers, pH meters, and O2 analyzers. 
• Add appropriate chemicals to water tanks when necessary.
•  Manage some regulatory sampling such as outfall pH and retention basins to prepare them for draining.

 
Essential skills and experience

•     At least 5 years of relevant experience in Water/ Wastewater Management 
•     Experience working in industrial environment such as power plant, refinery, chemical plant, manufacturing facility, etc.
•     Experience in testing, analyzing and documenting properties of water according to job requirements
•     Strong verbal and written communication skills

The pay range for this role is $50-$55/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
