Per Se Group has a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Completions Technician with our premier oil & gas refinery client in Texas. The Mechanical Completions Technician will play a critical role within the team by assisting with the installation and completions pertaining to all mechanical components.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate/execute construction activities in accordance with construction execution plan (including ITPs, project schedule and cost)
- Collaborate with leadership team to ensure safe and effective execution of equipment installation / mechanical completion activities and ensure all construction/mechanical completion testing requirements met
- Coordinate and interface with project management and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment/package installation issues
- Apply manufacturer recommendations/specifications and industry recognized standards to ensure satisfactory quality of equipment/package installation is achieved
- Collaborate with vendor representatives to ensure equipment/package installation specifications and preservation/maintenance activities are defined and executed
- Assist with utilization of computerized systems completion database to facilitate equipment/package testing tracking, certification, and quality to project specifications
- Assist in seamless transition of commissioning systems/subsystems from construction to commissioning through participation in check sheet verification, pre-walks, tri-party walk downs and punch close-out
- Degree/Diploma/Qualifications/Certifications in related Technical Discipline
- 15yrs years related experience in Oil and Gas Industry

- Demonstrated awareness and proactive approach to EHS
- Experience and understanding of engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and mechanical completion and commissioning
