Per Sé Group is hiring a Supply Chain Associate to work a contract assignment for our client, one of the largest developers and operators of clean energy in the United States with over 7 gigawatts of wind, solar, and energy storage in operation.
In this role you will provide support to the O&M Procurement Team in administrative activities related to sourcing and purchasing needs for assigned solar plants/business units, help manage delivery schedules, inventory and suppliers to deliver the highest quality, reliability and value to meet company and plant/business unit requirements, and provide support to business and system processes utilized in sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials/services.
Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering order history and spend data
- Support identification of opportunities for leveraging existing suppliers
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential suppliers in the Clearway Supplier Portal
- Participate in cross-functional sourcing teams to evaluate potential & current suppliers
- Support execution of supplier KPIs and demonstrate continuous improvement
- Place purchase orders as needed
- Ensure timely delivery of goods/services by running open order reports and expediting backlog
- Assist in resolution of Accounts Payable and invoice/delivery issues
- Review and process claims against suppliers for unsatisfactory materials, delivery, or equipment
- Execute practices to ensure that optimum inventory levels are sustained while minimizing shortages and delays
- Respond to audits, surveys, or other informational requests from internal and external sources
- Ensure compliance with company and Supply Chain policies and procedures
- Support miscellaneous tasks required within O&M Procurement Team functions as needed
Desired Skills and Expertise
- 1-3 years in supply chain experience desired. Previous experience in the wind energy industry or other renewables industries is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline. Applicable experience in related disciplines or industries may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and time management
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Self-starter who has ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to achieve high-level results
- Proficient in computer applications and SAP or other ERP system and ability to broaden knowledge as new technology becomes available
