Summary
We are seeking an Instrument and Electrical Turnaround Coordinator to support our refinery turnaround operations. This role focuses on running down tags on instruments and equipment to assist in creating detailed work packages. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of instrumentation and electrical systems and possess strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities

Tag Management: Run down and verify instrument and electrical tags across the refinery, ensuring all equipment is accurately identified and documented.

Work Package Development: Assist in creating detailed work packages for turnaround activities, including scope definition, resource requirements, and job steps based on tag information.

Inspection Coordination: Collaborate with field technicians and engineers to gather necessary data and ensure all relevant information is included in the work packages.

Documentation: Maintain and update records related to instrument and electrical systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.

Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports and updates to senior coordinators and project managers.
Preferred Skills and Expertise

Education: Associate’s degree or diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience: Some experience or internship in instrumentation and electrical systems, ideally in a refinery or industrial setting.

Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of instrumentation and electrical systems, including knowledge of common tags and equipment.

Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
