A leading renewable energy company is seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations at a utility-scale renewable energy site in Dallas, Texas. Ideal candidates will have a background in site management, construction management, or facilities management and be capable of overseeing a large team, including site managers, lead technicians, and field technicians. Wind industry experience is highly preferred, though candidates from other industries with relevant experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all O&M activities, ensuring they align with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strong leadership to site personnel, including 2 site managers, lead technicians, and field technicians, while promoting a safety-first, results-driven culture.
  • Coordinate and manage contractors, ensuring project timelines, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Implement maintenance programs and optimize site performance through preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Oversee site-level budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maintain optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the construction management team on new builds, upgrades, and expansions, ensuring smooth transitions and operational readiness.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and contractors.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports, analyzing KPIs and identifying improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in O&M, site management, construction management, or facilities management, ideally within the renewable energy sector; wind energy experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing teams of 200+ individuals, including contractors and direct employees.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards, regulations, and compliance in high-risk environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and performance reporting.
