Per Se Group has a an exciting contract position for a Construction Manager. In this role, you will work with one of our clients, a major renewables company. This project will be in Texas. You will be managing construction on a remediation solar farm project and overseeing epc and subcontracting firms.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful field management of all electrical work, cabling, inverters, electrical remediation
- Ensure all crew members and field supervision perform work in a safe manner and follow all established safe work practices and protocols
- Ensure all construction activities comply with the customer’s program procedures and H&M Policies & Processes
- Coordinate with the field support team to ensure proper coordination of materials, equipment and tools
- Coordinate with the project management team to ensure the project schedules and construction resources (labor & equipment) are efficiently managed
- Manage construction activities to ensure project budget goals are being met on a consistent basis
- Review operational processes and procedures to ensure alignment with customer policies and procedures
- Effectively communicate with customer Construction Coordinators and Project Managers for efficient and effective field interactions
- Provide input and value on customer project walk downs with regard to constructability observations, environmental/access factors, and risk factors
Requirements
- Responsible for supervision and oversight of EPC Field Superintendents and General Foreman
- Serve as the lead construction representative during customer meetings and constructability reviews
