MISSION
"The site manager will be responsible for coordinating the execution of an LED replacement project at various automotive plants. This will be part of an energy services contract."
Supervise and manage the execution of energy efficiency projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and technical standards, while coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
 
Responsibilities
  1. Management of energy efficiency and energy services projects in excess of $2M in construction phase.
  1. Lead project on site as Site Manager.
  1. Coordinate with customers and contractors. Responsible for monitoring of construction quality to ensure that all work is installed in accordance with the plans, specifications, QA/QC requirements, code requirements, contract requirements and good construction practices.
  1. Management of pay application approval process in accordance with the contractual terms including review and recommendation of change order approvals.
  1. Responsible for the Safety and Environmental compliance of the company's personnel and subcontractors during construction in accordance with federal, state and local laws, and policies, practices and procedures.  Ensure all personnel and subcontractors meet technical and safety training requirements.
  1. Complete and maintain required and accurate documentation and records.
  1. Facilitate the daily and produce the weekly and monthly reporting requirements for our internal and external customers, as well as KPI reporting.

FORMACIÓN
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline or equivalent: mechanical, electrical.
  EXPERIENCE

    
         HABILIDADES
 
  • At least 3 years experience in energy efficiency and/or energy services projects.  Experience in industrial sector is well valorated.
 
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate multisite projects.
  • Possess the ability to think and analyze situations and determine and implement effective resolutions in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to successfully interact with key executives, external and internal customers.
  • Strengths will include excellent communications, organization, and positive leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel 25% – 50% of time to domestic locations: mainly based in Detroit Area.
  • Posses a working understanding of cost accounting, budgeting and contract implementation.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrate continuous commitment to safe operations.  Be an active role model and constant resource to the organization.
  • Able to work in an industrial (automotive) environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
SPECIFIC KNOWLAGE Language
  • Fluency in English.
  • Intermediate in Spanish a plus
Software
  • Experience with project management tools and systems (MS Project), AutoCad a plus.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
